I know it has been a long break from my blogging
- my sister rang to tell me off!
I have
been busy making bridal jewellery for the wedding fair season which
is from September to April. I have launched my ranges which are
proving popular but still commissioned tiaras reign supreme!
My
ranges are lily,
elven/Lord
of the Rings, ivy,
rose, poppy
and I am working on daisy too.
The hotel was
beautiful and I was really pleased with the way my stand looked,
this was my first fair both with my bridal jewellery on its own
and without Lincs Wedding Ring.
The fair went
well and I received loads of lovely comments about my jewellery
(which always does a girl good!) and a lot of interest in my commissioning
service. Rachel (the florist) also had her own stand there, which
looked fabulous. It was great that we had stands next to each other
so we could nip off for a toilet break without worrying about leaving
the stand unattended.
Was
worn out by the time I got home but really happy with the day. My
next fair is in 2 weeks so will have two weeks in the workshop with
no panic about packing stuff as it is already in boxes - yipee!

How good is your memory?
Do you remember many moons ago I promised you photos
of the first wedding fair for Lincolnshire Wedding Ring? Well here
they are.

Ta Ta Tiara
I have finished the tiara and am delighted with
it - I am taking it to the client on Friday so fingers crossed she
is happy with it.
Also made a couple of bracelets for a commission
and the clients were delighted which is always good to know. I am
thinking of including a testimonials page on the website.

I love weddings!
I have been commissioned to do some bridal jewellery.
It is really exciting making something for a wedding because you
feel part of the celebrations. The tiara is to be in a Lord of the
Rings but modern style and the bride was chuffed with my sketches.
Have started making it and am delighted with the result so far.
It has made me consider the events I will attend
- I enjoyed doing the wedding fair a lot. People who are getting
married know what they want and if it isn't available they will
have it made. To be part of that is special.
